Insurance
Every patient’s coverage, insurance card and superbills, in one place. Genesis Health doesn’t bill insurance directly: patients pay at the visit, and each paid visit gets a superbill they send to their plan for out-of-network benefits. Card photos and superbills live here only; each patient sees the same details under Insurance in the patient portal.

A superbill is ready once the visit is paid and the visit note is signed; it then shows in the patient’s portal under Insurance. It carries what an out-of-network claim asks for: the provider and NPI, place of service, CPT and ICD-10 codes, and what was paid. Patients send it to their plan themselves, and the plan pays them.
